Oh, alright already!! I'm writing.
Thank you, Dylan, for fixing my computer. I'm sure you'll be relieved that I'm not bothering yours! And I won't have to work through my lunch hours to use my computer at work. :o)
As I told Katie, I really don't have a whole lot to write. It's pretty sad that you can go nearly six months without posting and have nothing to say. But I think "excitement" is overrated. Life is really very calm and peaceful right now. And I'd be happy to keep it that way!
I am happy to report that my divorce was final on October 3. It is good to close that chapter in my life. On to better things...... As you all know, Katie and I went on a wonderful trip--a cruise to Mexico. I have yet to do anything with my pictures, but they're coming sometime. I'm ready to go on another trip already.
I'm really not very fond of "winter." My #1 priority (even before eating or sleeping) is staying warm. It hasn't been too bad thus far, but I'm dreading the next 5 or 6 months. I always feel like hibernating (eating, sleeping and nothing else). Does anyone out there have a cattle prod I can borrow? It's a perfect time to be working on "house" projects, but you need motivation for that, and I seem to have lost it somewhere. I have committed to myself that I'm not going to be doing 3/4 of my Christmas shopping after December 20 this year. I'm going to hit it early. I have actually already started. I think this is going to be one of the best holiday seasons I've had in many years. I'm actually looking forward to it--something I haven't done in a long time.
Hmmm, I guess I did have a little bit to say, after all. I'll be darned! I need to go get ready for another day of working with society's best. Take care, y'all.

Seester! I'm glad you are looking forward...want to do my shopping while you are at it? I'm having one of those "let's skip it" years. Hahahahahah.
